Kottke reminded me of a forgotten gem online, Rodcorp’s How We Work. Currently he has 104 people up there, collecting interviews, found descriptions, and various sources. Its a fun voyeuristic stroll for people who are fascinated by people. What I particularly love are the comments for each post. Most commenters seem to ask to be connected to whomever the post is about. But others actually assume the post was written by the person themselves and, in the case of the post on writer David Chase, one such commenter has pasted in some of their manuscript, or another said the following:
I am mark rosner’s sister in law marianne rosner I own a granite and marble business on long island I have a great script for you.
